Marni Giannotti began her career behind the camera at the School of Visual Arts, where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography. With a keen, creative eye looking through the camera, she found herself painting the palette of her subjects, enhancing and drawing out the natural beauty and mystique of her photos. Her unique perspectives led her to her true passion and calling: makeup design. Marni dedicated herself to learning the craft by attending one of New York City’s most cutting-edge academies, the Make-up Designory (MUD), and by participating in the acclaimed Powder Group workshops and seminars, where she studied beauty for film and television.
Marni’s experience runs the full gamut of the industry, from corporate to retail, from the runway to TV and print. As the lead makeup artist for the salon Frederic Fekkai in Soho, she perfected her craft on some of New York’s social elite. It wasn’t long before opportunities in television and film drew Marni into the scene; she was soon lending her talents to music videos, commercials, fashion shows, and high-end editorial shoots. |
